Hungarian is the primary language spoken in Hungary and is also used in Slovakia, Romania, Croatia, and by small groups of people around the world. Approximately 10 million people worldwide are native speakers of Hungarian, providing a large pool of potential conversation partners for those who learn the language.
Some may find Hungarian to be a difficult language due to its unique language structures that are not commonly found in Western languages like German or English. However, with the help of our highly skilled teachers, you can overcome any challenges and learn the language effectively.
Our belief is that the most effective way to learn Hungarian is through a combination of classroom instruction with a teacher and self-study. We offer group and one-on-one Hungarian lessons, as well as free practice tools. Consistent practice, such as speaking with Hungarian-speaking friends, is also crucial in the learning process.
While taking a course with a teacher is the ideal way to learn Hungarian, there are numerous free resources available on the internet, including Hungarian YouTube videos, PDF books, podcasts, and songs. Our website also offers free tools for learning Hungarian.
Large language learning providers like Babbel and Rosetta Stone do not offer Hungarian language apps currently. However, there are smaller providers that do. At Let's Learn Hungarian, we believe that the best way to learn a language is through direct communication with real people. Our teachers will help you choose appropriate multimedia resources, and we also provide a free online vocabulary trainer for practice.
